Any ideas why I can’t read braw in 2027.1?

Hey Tim, BRAW is working on my 27.1 Flame with this test file I got from BlackMagic.

You can download it here to test on your system.

> **[A002\_05241851\_C034.braw - A002\_05241851\_C034 - Frame.io](https://next.frame.io/share/114fde20-bbd8-4997-b3bb-aea3eb1f9692/view/249c3196-8fe3-457e-b667-0878d4f61be2)**

Also check file permissions on the braw clips you have.

Neither your clip worked, not one that I download from BMD. All were copied to my facilis. I then took the drive and hung it directly on flame and it worked fine. All permissions are in order. I’d like to know why it didn’t read from the facilis, but I have a solution, so I’m moving on. For what it’s worth, I read and write from my facilis all day with no issues. It’s very strange that the .braw files behave so differently

Strange. FWIW I edited a ton of BRAW last week at home off an NFS mount.

Permissions are exactly the same as other clips that I can read. -rxwrxwrxw.

The headline of this thread made me think of this and I was very confused

I think a dab is very different here.
