I’ve just had a pop-up telling me that my workstation disk is nearly full. Upon investigation, theres a lot of images in /var/opt/Autodesk/flame/projects.
I have no idea how they got there, but can they be deleted? why are they there?

Are they from older projects not showing up because you have your project management page set to view current version only?

I’m running 2027.1, but had to have 2027 installed for compatibility. It was down to the config on 2027.0.1 pointing at the local disk for media storage. I guess I need to archive those projects out, delete them and bring back in to clear it.

I don’t know about images, but I remember animated FBX files being excellent at filling up system drives. If you convert the FBX into action geo, it creates a piece of geo per-frame and per-action and per-iteration, which can add up fast. I believe the trick is to set the import to “read from disk” instead of “convert to action”, but it’s been a while and my info could be outdated.

Could be that certain image types/uses have a similar issue.
