# Expand, separate, match out clip with embedded alpha on desktop?

Hey, I have a clip with an embedded alpha, aka multi-channel clip. Is there a way to (expand, separate, match out) the different layers from the clip onto the desktop? There are options to contain or add matte, but it already has a matte. My work around is currently taking it into batch and expanding it there.

The only way is in batch. There is a feature request for a desktop combine/separate.
