# Flame 2021.1 on CentOs 8.2?

Hey guys, anyone knows if Flame 2021.1 is possible to run on 8.2? I know System Requirements says no, but…

Hi Thiago,

The system requirements say “no” because 2021.1 was not coded with Centos 8.2 supported. There would be many things missing, settings not correct and opening a whole can of avoidable trouble for yourself.

If you wish to use Centos 8.2 then please consider upgrading to 2022.2 as well.
