# Flame Audio Issues? Check here first

Hi Flame community.

I have seen a few cases come in with Audio not working this week, options greyed out, meters not working, etc.

If anyone searches for resolution to this issue, please try here first:

To avoid this behavior in Flame, ensure that `Audio Monitoring` is enabled:

- Under Flame Preferences \> User, Players & Monitoring tab

Also, having that turned off will make for Flame to not write audio to any exported file.
