Flame on MacOS 27

Hi everyone,

has anyone already tested Flame on macOS 27, especially on the new M5?

I’ve ordered an M5 Ultra directly from Apple, so I assume it will ship with macOS 27. Autodesk currently lists macOS 26.x as officially supported, so I’m wondering if anyone has already tried 27 in production.

Is there any official word from Autodesk yet – a go, known issues, or reasons to hold off for now?

Hola! So, if you are curious to see the new animated wall-papers part of macOS 27 Golden Gate then press the Update button! BUT before, if you have custom hardware like network cards (see Please wait before updating to macOS 27 Golden Gate ) then make sure the OS is able to use these HW… We have not seen any issues with Flame 2027.1 Update so you should be good to go. We do not plan to go back to previous releases since you really deserve the latest Flame version with the latest macOS version…

ML users? Wait before updating to macOS27 Golden Gate

A memory issue has been reported on macOS 27 Golden Gate when using our various ML tools. The issue is being look at by our friends at Apple so for now do not update your Mac. We will keep you updated on when it will be appropriate to update.

We have not yet got a solution from Apple for this issue which means that if you plan to use Flame ML tool with your new mac you will see memory issues. We will post a new thread when a new version of macOS with a fix has been released and validated.

ive been using my M5 ultra for a week now. its super fast and I love it. the Wacom was an issue. now works. the timewarp Ml is an issue and doesn’t work at all - soo my other thread. everything else seems ok.
