_Lately, I’ve been thinking about an idea for a product or service (or whatever the right term for it is). However, my knowledge doesn’t go far enough to build it, or, to be honest, even to conduct market validation or build an MVP. So tell me: where do your good ideas go to sleep?_ If you care to know. I’m thinking about building a post-production tracking system that grabs metadata from editors, assistants, and other operators and helps the all important information go across departments. The plan would be to build it using Python since I have some coding experience. Are there any tools like this on the market already? If so, point me towards it, please. Discreet Flow has the potential but it cares more about VFX. Místika Workflow could be the winner but I don’t know enough about it. ---
