Hello,

I shortened the segment (Black, with a duration of ~ 60 frames) so there is material do dissolve (command + left arrow or right arrow).

- Surprisingley no Handles/Tails are show even the segment becomes shorter. The stars on each side are remaining (no numbers).

- when i select the transition, the look of yellow trim-handler differs from the “normal” trim-handler (only the upper half is shown)

What I am doing wrong?

PS
Don’t know if the term “trim-handler” is correct.

The stars are the same as infinity.

Virtual segments are infinite, hence, Asterisks/stars.

Was this an AAF conform from someplace else? I get those tiny trim marks sometimes from AVID sequences where they somehow have two clips piled on top of each other, or something (I have no idea.) Try selecting them and hitting Delete and see if it looks like nothing happened, but then selecting the edit point acts normal again.

Thanks for your feedback!

No everything was made in Flame…

Ok I tried to select(Option+A) this tiny trim marks but nothing (visible) happend.

Hmm but now something is definitively “wrong”, because
Command + left/right and selecting the transition points between segments does not work anymore.
The same in all other projects ☹ Probably i confused Flame with my playing around.
Restarting Flame and even rebooting the Mac does not help ☹

Only seeing half of it means, that you have a transition in the cut without any lenght. So you would need to delete it or make it at least 1 frame long to work.

Thank you Bernd for the feedback! After deleting the transition (by removing the Dissolve TL FX), it was easy to set a new Dissove 🙂
