Back when we had gotten used to the idea of Flame on Octane (Floctane) but were still making jokes about Flame ever being on a Mac.

I remember at VTR, we had a flame on onyx and a flame on octane, the onyx flame had the modular keyer, but the floctane didn’t, so we had many issues when producers moved jobs around.

I left the mega-facility life in 2002, and never looked back. These were the things that made life nerve-wracking. Schedulers were told to keep the rooms full, so we would have a Flame job come back for some quick revisions and flame would be booked, so they would put it in the Henry suite. When we said no, we couldn’t do that, they called us prima donas.
