LVLY Studio, a design, animation, visual effects house seeking machine room assistant. Candidate would ideally have experience with encoding / transcoding files from one format to another.
Knowledge of various codecs such has Uncompressed, Apple ProRes, XDCAM, Animation, DNxHD, DNxHR, VP9, h264, h265, mpeg (1,2,4), WebM, html5 file formats, etc is required.
Knowledge of compression software such as Adobe Media Encoder & Compressor is required
Familiarity with the Frame.io platform helpful but not required
Knowledge of broadcast standards such as High Definition (1080p / 23.98, 720p / 59.94, 1080i / 59.94) as well as Standard Definition (NTSC) is required.
Knowledge of UHD & HDR is helpful but not required
Understanding of Audio Standards and Practices - Target Loudness (LKFS) & True-Peak levels
Understanding of video scopes and waveform monitors
Experience with digital file submission via FTP (File Transfer Protocol), Aspera and/or digital distribution sites such as Extreme Reach and AdStream
Experience with file captioning and formats such as .SRT & .VTT
Understanding of file requirements for posting assets to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Hulu, Vimeo, Spotify, Snapchat, etc
Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, are helpful but not a requirement
Basic knowledge of unix is helpful but not required
Maintain assets for Wiredrive and LVLY Website
Knowledge of non-linear editing programs such as Adobe Premiere, Davinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro are helpful but not required.
Proficient with Mac OS
