If a matchbox doesn’t have a side xml, it autodetects color space.
I have matchboxes that don’t alter colors (spacial manipulations only) and would like to just pass the color space through.
Is there something tweak-able in the xml that overrides this ‘autodetect’?

I have several similar shaders. I just used one of ADSK examples as a template and never had a color issue. AI can hook you up though.

Thanks Alan. I’ll look at the examples again. Do you remember which one you used?

I’m sorry I don’t, but probably the UI one, since I just needed simple A/B drop downs, and integer value boxes.

Also, don’t be afraid to use AI to make OFX plugins. They have way more potential use cases and functionality. Almost no limits.

spatial 🙂
Not able to direct Claude sonnet in the right direction so far.
Yeah, I’ve done one useful (and hopefully ‘safe’ on the C++ side) OFX so far, and could look into it for this utility, but the matchbox way seems well suited for it (we only need to set the color space manually from the drop down currently, but working as it should otherwise)

NoInput=“Error” instead of NoInput=“Black”
Did the trick
