Hello there 🙂

I’m experiencing issues with Mocha OFX on an M2 Ultra running Flame 2025.2.1.
I’ve been in contact with Boris FX support but we haven’t been able to find a solution.

- The new ML tool for garbage masks isn’t working properly it selects almost the entire shot, regardless of the scenario.

- Additionally whenever I switch to the 3D tab for SynthEyes, Mocha crashes every time.

I’ve already updated Mocha and cleared the cache but the issues persist.

Has anyone else encountered these problems ? Or had a similar experience with Mocha ? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated !

Thanks!

I have the same setup as you, but I’m on Flame 2025.2.2. Everything’s working for me, maybe try updating Flame?

I have just had an issue with this myself. You hit render and it moves forward making no spline. I may have a fix? I was in ACES so colour managed to rec709 as an input to mocha. I then changed mocha colourspace to legacy (OCIO legacy , working colourspace mocha working rec 709) It is now rendering my splines as it should. At least it seems to be a fix for now but this problem is quite random affecting some shots and not others. All shots are ACES so go figure?
