# New bug Drag and Drop replace of Gmask Tracer

Has anybody else had an issue with replacing a Gmask tracer node?  
I can’t drop and replace, works fine with every other node, but not with the Gmask tracer.  
Have I found a bug??

I am under the impression that both gmask tracers and Action nodes couldn’t be replaced with drag and drop due to its external sources. Might be wrong?

Randy is correct. The replace node function is not available on nodes on which you can add external media/input. These nodes are Action, GMask Tracer, Image and Paint.

I guess this is why Link doesn’t work with them either?
