I’m reformatting an 8k shot to 4k using the scaling presets. Rather than make it 4k, it makes it 960x540, which is half the project size. Is the correct behavior? If so, it sucks. I should think it would reformat based on source size.

I don’t consider it wretched, so I’ll wait until @fredwarren tells me it is expected behavior since it is a new feature with this release.

By default, the Resolution settings in Reformat are set to the Project resolution. In your case, what you want to do is to select Get Settings from Selection in the drop down button attached to the Get Settings from Project button at the bottom left of the Reformat window. Once this is done, you will get the values you are looking for.
