Make sure the Render node is not set to Use Input Values in the Node Prefs submenu.

You can set it to Custom Values by default in Preferences - System - Batch & BFX

Perfect - thanks Fred. Hidden menus huh! shouldn’t that be overwritten if you hit T click??

Hey Jon- that behavior has changed slightly with the introduction of the new 2027 Metadata features. When you’re getting that Basic Metadata sent through the schematic, it’s populated into the Write File Node from whichever Clip node is hooked up upstream. You can still T-click if you set the Write File Node back to Custom Values like Fred said.

4:21 is the section talking about Basic Metadata changes.

Thanks Jeff. I do wonder whether a T click should auto override that setting, as there is only one reason you would T click.

But surely T click doesn’t need to exist anymore
