One of my 11 year old son’s is enthralled with different countries New Year’s Eve customs and rituals. For example, today I learned that in El Salvador it’s common to crack an egg in a glass of water, leave it near an open window, and see what interesting shapes it makes the next day. If you cracked an egg in a glass of water and left it near an open window what would you like to see in 2021? ---

I would like to see the places and people I couldn’t see in 2020. Well not in the cracked egg, but IRL. Being an expat and not being able to go home for more than a year gets to you after a while…
