Hi,

I’m getting an issue with TimewarpML on Linux Flame 2025.
I have reinstalled and patched.

If I try to do a change in speed (not just a constant speed) and use “timewarp from flames TW effect” it gives the error message below.

Would anyone happen know a fix for this? 🙏

Last I knew the vary speed was in development and still somewhat experimental. What I have done in the past is slowed my footage way down with the conventional MLTW, then used that as the base for a vary speed, using the extra frames to help smooth it out.

Okay thanks for the reply, I’ll try that.

I’ve used it so much in the past and it’s worked really well, but maybe it’s something to do with 2025 and having to patch it.

I used it in the past also, but it stopped working for me in 2024

@stu Which version of TWML are you running? Try v0.4.4 if you’re not already. We use it for ramps all day long (although we are 2024 on Linux).

Yes I downloaded 0.4.4 with the patch that @ManChicken provided.
I’m on Linux 2025 so that’s probably the issue.

There’s 0.4.5 coming and it will work on 2025.

@talosh That’s working on a 3090, thanks so much.

Even the Timwarp from flame tw works when I have a timewarp in speed mode.
In timing mode it’s doing strange backwards/forwards behaviour.

But that’s helped me a great deal.

Hi Stu, do you mind to send me your Timewarp setup that behaves strangely? The block that parses and interpolates Timewarp curves has been re-written and it would be nice to catch issues early. Batch setup or setup saved from Timewarp node should be enough, no media is needed.

We are having issues with Timewarp ML on flame 2024.1 and Rocky 8.7
The process just hangs forever. Any help would be appreciated.
