# URGENT: Flame on Mac 2026 Stone+Wire

Hey guys,  
The mac studio at my office won’t launch flame. It says "Error: Stone + Wire Database server not running.  
I was under the impression we are using SQL and no more stone + wire?

Need help A$AP.

SOLVED: I needed to uninstall anything pre 2026

That’s odd, John. I have 2025.2.2 and 2026 installed on my Mac and they live in harmony.

Revision: for some reason when I installed it had connected my local host from my laptop to the flame, which is why it wasn’t showing any projects after install. Switching the host back to the original server everything came back online. I re installed flame 2015.2 and it works fine.
