View Wireframe Geo without Transparency?

Is it possible to view a geo in Action as a wireframe but not see through it? Im having trouble visualizing what is going on because there is a lot of overlap in geo. Im hoping for a hybrid of Original Wire & Solid.

If not, I might just toggle all to solid and put a different color Material on all of them. Curious how others might sort this out.

Thanks in advance

Did you try this in Node Prefs?

Play with the transparency to get what you want.

The other alternative is make a grid texture map and make one diffuse map and parent it to all the geo nodes. Then you can hide the diffuse map when you don’t need to see the grid

Based on what you’re saying… one thing you could try would be to texture the geo with a grid pattern. It wouldn’t be a true wireframe by any means, but it could give you the hybrid solid/wire look you’re after.

Not a solution:
You’re looking for a vintage way to view geometry called “hidden line removal wireframe”. This was used to represent geometry in the viewport when Phong or Gouraud shading was too expensive for interactive viewports.
Science fiction movies of the 80s and 90s used it so much. Ah, the good old days :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
