Does anyone have and tips and tricks in creating a volumetric light effect.

It’s a table top shot that needs a volumetric light effect coming down onto the table and lighting up the product.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I usually start very simple, there’s a rays node in action and also a rays matchbox camera fx. I tend to always get at least a good starting point with one of those.

If you want more perspective and control you can create a 3d plane, work with lighting and the rays matchbox and then add on top of the shot.
