Spectrum Films is looking for junior-mid level Flame Artists or Compositors to join their visual effects team. Spectrum Films is a family owned full service Australian post production and VFX company that was founded in 1964. Based in Sydney at Disney Studios Australia, Spectrum Films is a creative hub for established and emerging filmmakers, providing the highest level of quality and service. Spectrum’s facilities are world class, with multiple picture and sound finishing theatres and suites, and a team comprising of some of the best Australian talent in their respective fields. Our growing VFX offering has a boutique feel, remaining agile so that we can evolve as new technologies change the industry as a whole. We put the artist back into VFX artist, letting individuals on the team own their own shots and sequences rather than feeling like a cog in a VFX production line. We have a friendly, positive and supportive culture that nurtures creativity, providing strong mentorship for everyone within the team. If you have a personable nature and can leave your ego at the door then you will fit right in. Whilst our preference would be for a Flame Artist, if you possess a background in Nuke, Fusion or After Effects then we would still encourage you to apply. Australian residents or those with a current Australian working visa are preferred.
