I am a professional creative with 25 years of experience in a diverse range of disciplines.
I have worked in a number of design fields - motion, broadcast, print, identity, logo, interactive (cd rom, multimedia, online), packaging (box design), product (bottle design) and POP (point of purchase) design.
Then in 2012, I took a position with Autodesk, a fortune 500 company known for its design, engineering and content creation software, as a senior technical specialist in the media & entertainment division. What does that mean? An oversimplified answer is, I was the flame demo guy. A slightly more verbose answer is… I was pre-sales/post-sales, support, customer service, technical & creative trouble-shooter, client confidante and champion, workflow consultant and liaison to product development to name a few functions.
Constantly learning, self motivated and resourceful. At Autodesk I worked within a global team of technical specialists. I have also taken leadership roles facilitating world wide team communication and coordinating technical summits with the product development team. This facilitated a global approach and consistent message and material. I have received individual achievement awards as well as reached Diamond Club (exceeding 140% of sales goals).
I am a creative who can talk business and understand the technical.
It is at the intersection of those three worlds that I’ve often found myself designing a solution that best satisfies those needs.
When I am not busy working on solutions for my clients, I love to share knowledge. I have found you can learn a lot from teaching as well as learn a lot from students coming to you with fresh eyes.
My goals have remained constant.
