sometimes I would like to use the whole part or only parts of an existing projekt in a new project. Unfortunately there is not save_as in Flame…
Is renaming a project/archive during restore possible? If not, do alternatives exist?

I would just make your new project and drag over the parts you want from the other project.
You can’t rename while restoring an archive, but you can rename the parts you restore afterwards.
We do not archive “projects” but rather final films as timelines. Since everything lives in the timeline BFX, restoring only the necessary clips is easily done. Of course this might be a whole another workflow and might be incompatible with how you work.
