Hmm, sounds like the Studio’s needed to maintain confidence in their investors that they can deliver on promised projects.
The wording for acquiring the money is still pretty damaging to Cinesite. Especially since it comes from the premier industry masterb—on publication.
If I worked there I’d definitely start planning my exit.
If I was a vendor working with them I’d be extra cautious.
Have zero inside info so just guessing at what’s up.
Edit: does look like people felt it’s a great place to work in vfx. So hopefully it survives.
