Flame Machine Learning Timewarp, now on Linux and Mac

Thanks @talosh & @philm

I won’t be in front of a system again until next Tuesday but if you like more examples to work with then I am happy to oblige.

Really appreciate such a helpful tool

Does the current version work with 2025.1? I just tested the new ML mode of the time warper in the current version of flame, and it appears worse on a really tough shot than @talosh’s version.

@SamE - @talosh amazing tools work on flame 2025+.
The new ADSK Machine Learning TW works in 2025.1+

Morning All
I am hopeless when it comes to looking under the bonnet of Python. I’m running a MLTimewarp on a clip. It goes through the motions of exporting but then in the shell i see this error and nothing else happens. Does anyone know a fix for this as i really need to use this software wizardry on a clip to speed it up. Using Flame 2025.0.2 on Mac but also tried it 2025. Thank you as always.

Hi Markus, would you mind to check if dev 0.4.5 works?

Hi Talosh,
On my list to do today. Best wishes Marcus

Which version works on linux flame2025.2.2?

Similar question to above… We lost our previous installation of @talosh‘s TimewarpML a while ago, and now want it back for its Fix Duplicate Frames function.

I think v0.4.5 dev 003 doesn’t include this feature, so very happy to use older, but v0.4.4 doesn’t seem to be recognised by Flame any more.

Running Flame 2025.2.4 / Rocky 8.5, but also to complicate things all our python scripts are now centralised (so that’s where I’m dropping it, not in /opt/Autodesk/…) - maybe this is the reason why Flame doesn’t unpack it? Sorry but I don’t understand a lot of the chat about envs in this thread!

Sorry, had missed this in the epic thread. Thank you!

I’m haven’t been able to run TimewarpML on 26.2. Is anyone else having this problem?

Same question. Can some version runs on 2026.2? This plugin is still worth it in some scenarios. I miss it a lot.
