Hi Ben, I see… yes sure I am thrilled to show a demo of how all this new cool AI/ML stuff works. Life would be best! Google meet or Skype works good for me. let me know
Im sure its something a few people would like to see maybe we could set something up if their is interest?
Absolutely yes
Great
Is there anybody else interested? Reply here and we can sort it out. Maybe go live on the discord?
Interested!
@Xteve if you can record this session and share it that could be great to understand a bit more what you do
very Interested
@ everybody. i think this has really a lot of potential. If you have time, pay attention to this integration or this topic. Nuke already is ahead and as a working integration that vfx company are already integrating in their pype. The potential is much greater then inference node or using online ai tools. @Xteve is working on a very cool integration that is the base layer for developing cool new tools. @Ben and @Xteve please keep me in the loop.
Wonder if there will be enough for a Logik Live?
Count me in!
I wrote a pybox comfyui interface for myself a while back, but it was very… Clunky. Would def be interested in a smoother workflow.
@Xteve 's description of their work sounds promising. In my pybox, I ran comfy and flame on the same box, with a 4090. It was… Limiting. It worked, but your flame node trees had to be small.
My use cases (in the few jobs I used that pybox on) were generally set extensions, so it was kinda naturally segregated into inpaint/outpaint sessions and comping sessions. So I basically stopped the comfy server when I was done using comfy, and resumed integrating the outputs with all the vram in flame. It was very effective, because it was so customizable and fast, compared to non local services.
Of course, there’s still the legal quagmire surrounding ai imaging, so…
As @Beak mentioned, invokeai is also a viable contender, and might be a better fit for many flame users after their recent updates (including custom workflows that look remarkably like comfyui). It has a very nice interface, all set up for the majority of “bread and butter” inpaint/outpaint/style-transfer work.
Xteve’s system sounds like it is heading in a direction where it could be configured similarly (with flame as the UI), which sounds intriguing.
It would be great to have all those comfyui nodes available, as that community seems to bring stuff from research papers to reality quickly, warts and all.
I just overflow the incoming… I just had a call with my son (coming back home from Finland) after 6 years. Yeah, sure thing I am on. Maury gave me some cool hints to implement… I am glad to stick not alone here. Super cool. You guys are the best!
For now it is a robust integration on the Timeline/Reels section. And I drive it day by day to become better. My goal is to make it an easy timeline fx and/or/batch node with a open comfy Window to change settings as they are on the fly. I really belive that ComfyUI kicks in as the AI VFX pipeline for Flame.
Yeh, thanks to Maury I came up with that UI challenges . I also like his Idea to implement sending a flock of mattes to Comfy. Super cool ideas
Would love to see a Logik Live of this!
Me too
I’d also vote for a Logik Live about this project. I already use some Comfy workflows for comp prep, and it would be interesting to see how this integration works.
interested.
Interested for sure!

I’m down.
