yea main issue is just that is has no metadata saying what it is, technically its valid to do this.
In the case of a mxf wrapped ProRes, I believe that the data range metadata is included. QuickTime Iām not so sure about.

Sorry iām late and I might have missed something in the thread, but 2023.2 has a reported bug with logc4 in its prores form (published in the fixed bug list of 2023.3).
