I’m pleased to share a mist shader that i have made. It’s my 1st one and has been great fun to make and i’m learning loads.
I would love any advice if i’ve messed anything up or if there could be obvious improvement.
I am currently using it on a job (adding mist) and its working well. I suggest linking your track from a an axis to the x and y and rotation. It I hope you can find use for it. I wish i could of added the thumbnail to the shader so it looks nice in you r library but that just isn’t working for me. I included it anyway.
I realised the crop was not moving with the mist so i’ve re done it. So now it locks to the translation and rotation. You can also turn the individual sides off. This is important if you have a panning shot as you can keep the horizon infinite. Please find v3 attached.
Also just added a Global scale so you can move the mist after you’ve linked your track. I actually think now it could be now complete! Sorry for all the versions but v3 is the latest.
I’ve started to make a volumetric muzzle flash shader as i often have to add them. Yes i have a tonne of stock ones but i thought i give myself the challenge. It’s actually shaping up quite nicely and hopefully if it’s useful to anyone i can share pretty soon. I’m attaching a brief preview along with a snap of the menu. M
