I’m on the hunt for a cg artist that could help with a pre-vis. It’s definitely the kind of thing that could be done remotely I would think. We’d be working with a director to help visualize moves with a SpiderCam for an upcoming commercial. We’d need to work with real-world scale and to use the pre-vis to understand speed + distance travelled per shot.
Maybe someone knows someone who would be good for this? Blender? Maya? I’m not picky.
I used the Spydercam system on a feature I supervised back in 2005- we actually used it for a multip pass shot, it was able to nail a fairly repeatable move even back then ( we were the first show to use the system after Spiderman).
The great thing about it was I prevised the shot and we used the ASCII file to drive the camera. So there’s a ton of potential there, especially if you guys stick to all real world scale.
