You can use what you like in the comfort of your own setups :+1:
All power to the different people using Flame

But if you are sharing your setups with me I will insist that you use gmaskTracer so that i can steal your mattes and your tracks and I can use them through out the rest of the setup. That right there is the real time saver :hugs:

The argument that there are old setups that people might use again, and that some folks enjoy an old node here or there for valid reasons, there are drawbacks too.

The clutter is minimized by the search function. That’s not the big problem.

But every node that exists has to be tested with each release, and occasionally updated if some code changed under the hood. So they do eat up dev resources that could be put towards new shiny features instead. I’m sure it’s not a lot, since a lot of the testing is automated. But it’s non-zero.
