A high-end post-production company in Los Angeles, is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate compositor to join the FLAME/Finishing team as an Assistant/Junior Flame Artist. The ideal candidate works well under pressure, is highly organized and has a strong eye for detail, composition, color, and lighting. This person can expect to become an integral part of the Therapy team working alongside our artists on a broad range of work from long-form television and feature films to commercials, music videos, and VR.
Responsibilities:
• Import, manage and conform media (in Flame)
• Utilize different codec and media transcoding softwares
• Utilize a patch bay and router system
• Upload to and manage FTP links for client presentations
• Help manage the workflow and keep the team on track, in conjunction with our producers
• Troubleshoot technical issues and system updates
• Archive and backup projects and media
• Assist/participate in compositing work
Qualifications:
• Experience with & knowledge of Flame & VFX compositing
• Proficiency in After Effects, Resolve, and/or Nuke a plus!
• Must show attention to detail and consider oneself a perfectionist!
• Must have an outgoing personality and communicate well with others
• Familiarity with management of offline and online media storage
• Knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends when necessary.
Salary:
This position will be full-time and salaried based on experience, with opportunities to earn Overtime pay as well. After 60 days, our benefits include: paid holiday, vacation, and sick/personal time, health, dental, vision, life insurance, extended disability and a 401K plan.
