So, if you are curious to see the new animated wall-papers part of macOS 27 Golden Gate then press the Update button!

BUT before, if you have custom hardware like network cards (see Please wait before updating to macOS 27 Golden Gate ) then make sure the OS is able to use these HW…

We have not seen any issues with Flame 2027.1 Update so you should be good to go. We do not plan to go back to previous releases since you really deserve the latest Flame version with the latest macOS version!

The System Requirements page will be updated next Monday.

Wacom still has no driver for Mac Os 27.0 unless I missed something and continuing to draw with a brick…

yes just encountered that - apparently its hardwired in the Wacom driver to only accept certain OS numbers. apparently fix due soon

seems ok within flame though. I havent thoroughly tested as im heading off to set. but seems all good in flame

So are you saying the WACOM tablet doesnt work after the update?

Doesn’t work in the general os. Well you can click on things but you can’t click drag a window. But in flame it’s ok.

congratulate! I know Flame will definitely support macOS 28, 29, 30… but I don’t know if Flame will support Rocky Linux 10, 11, 12… especially if Flame will natively support Wayland! I am extremely looking forward to it, waiting and watching.

Can confirm that there is no update for wacom driver under Mac Os 27. Taking a crack at writing my own over the holiday weekend. Wish me luck.

Please don’t waste yur credits rewriting anything. Wacom has been around so long and there are so many open source repos of it, there’s gotta be a free open source version that’s available right now

Uninstall wacom driver, restart, then install MockTab

Reverse engineering the intel one that’s been reportedly working and looking at differences between the Os 26 driver. Besides I enjoy reading code once and a blue moon. Call me crazy. :zany_face:. Can’t be worse then writing a script to have a VGXT talk to an a60 and then offload to tape with a gpi triggered by timecode.

Ubuntu PLANK Client, Wacom to macOS PLANK Host works without any Wacom driver installed on either. MacOS Client to MacOS host I have not tested.
