I have always used my Flame with a local raid, which gets backed up to a Synology server (then mirrored to another offsite system).
The engineer who installed it has just suggested working directly from the Synology to cut down on file replication and because the network drive is faster than my raid. The engineer is a network chap…not a flame engineer, so he’s not familiar with any Flame issues.
My questions to this illustrious user group are :-
is this a wise thing to do with Flame?
if it is…would i simply create a new AutodeskMedia storage folder inside my network share, and other project related files as i would on the raid?
