does anyone have any pre made saftey cages for various things?
im cleaning up our preset cages here and would love to throw in a snapchat/tik tok/whatever cage to help us lot here who are all over the age of 13 and dont know who tik tok is.
we have UK tv stuff sorted but any US/ weird specs are also welcome if anyone has any to hand pls…

There are so many and they are ever changing.
I think there is a useful thread that we should bump and encourage people to keep updating
I haven’t made any guides for these yet. My clients seem to know less than me.
I go by the Smpte guides, which I believe are the same as EBU, for broadcast. I wing all that other stuff. Every once in a while a client will send me some sample of guides to follow for a social platform.
we also made custom ones that i was planning on throwing up on some blog hut we have to re-check if they are still valid, and I am trying to push the responisbility to the clients

Hey Dan. I’ve been having a look at combining Tik Tok, Insta Stories and Snapchat to make a triple safe for 9x16 and i reckon 46px in from left and right, 375 from the bottom (both tik tok) and 250 from the top (insta stories) covers it. Snapchat says 150 or 250 from top and/or bottom depending where you look.
Maybe it will help someone, I created presets for Instagram and TikTok.

I just got one very similar to this. Huge pain when the client hasn’t thought of it until the end. They kept saying we want a 9x16 version and designed the titles full frame and after delivery came back with this guide. Had to shove all the ttiles up there. Unfortunately, they don’t seem to care too much about it but it really needed a re-design.
They really don’t seem to care do they.
