Mac studio. Bloody hell. Amazing

I would love to hear more from people running Flame 2024 on Apple Silicone. Specifically Mac Studios.

Have you run the Flame Benchmark and logged it on the page? - Flame 2020 4K Benchmark times & specs - Google Sheets

Not the benchmark, but I just ran a real world heavy green screen render on both 2023.3 and 2024 and both took 14 mins.
That’s on a full spec Mac Studio.

The comp had Neat Video, motion analysis/blur, Median, keying stuff, and just a lot of normal comping elements. For me that was quite a good benchmark test, so a bit sad to not really see any improvement.

Edit to add, it’s still fast as fuck and reliable machine, so not complaining. Love my Mac studio.

Also confirming that this 3G monitor is working on my Ultra Studio as well.

Hi all, i’m running flame on a mac studio with a BMD sony plugged straight into hdmi output. Works like a charm. Do you know if i can plug a second monitor and have two synced output? or do i need a black magic adapter to split my output? thanks

You’ll need to either split the SDI signal with a T piece or loop it through one monitor to another or if the second monitor has HDMI input then come out of the BMD HDMI simultaneous to the SDI
