Whoops — fumble with DCP at Netflix

Do you think this is a straight case of DCP protocol and chain of custody being fumbled on both ends — or could it be some of the best guerrilla marketing for an indie film that would’ve never made a headline, since Blair Witch?

The call might well be coming from inside the house. Or just carelessness and incompetence.

Cost to register a likely nonviable lawsuit: a few thousand dollars.

Cost to get your indie film in the news and be covered and talked about? Priceless.

That director is a total joker. But at the same time, when we had our Netflix security review, the guy almost verbatim told us, “I don’t really care if content leaks, it’s end up being better marketing”.

Dumb as rocks

I handed my ip to a total stranger… on a verbal promise… with a guy in the parking lot…

absolutely believable.

I mean any one of us here would hand over 45 million dollars worth of equity to a guy in the parking lot.

Give me a break

Stupid clickbait
