Aaf not openning in Flame, but will in resolve

Afternoon all,

I’ve got 4 aaf files for a project. 1 and 3 open fine, 2 and 4 wont. Flame gives me a “could not import” error. 2 and 4 open fine in Resolve though…

Is there a way I can amend them in Resolve so they’ll open in Flame?

Sometimes just loading them into resolve and resaving does the trick . . .

Not this time I’m afraid!

Hang on, this worked.

Open the aaf in Resolve, then right click and export your “timeline”, down the bottom is “generate new AAF”

Using that has done the trick.
