Quick question re archiving a project. Does it archive the project bin in Batch?

If you are using a newer version of flame you can find the files and directories for your customized project bin in:
“/path/to/my-projekt/setups/batch/pref/“
It does, as long as you save project and restore project. I don’t know how you would go about it if you archived a la carte.

Just looking for the easiest way to go from 2025 to 2027
Doesn’t the project bin get saved if you archive setups? From memory when you restore them it brings in the project bin, setups and bookmarks.
I always do full-project archives when I upgrade. I generally prepare (full disclosure, someone does it for me) a new boot drive and do a clean install, especially if I am upgrading Rocky. I then reload all archives. I block out a weekend to baby-sit the re-ingest.
Everyone has their own pref about easiest.
Mine is grab a bunch of text files and search / replace for older / newer strings.
Then you run archive in the future where it will match the header with the currently installed version of software.
but other people do it differently.

If you have 2025 and 2027 on the same workstation, Start Flame 2027 and make sure to select the All Versions option. This will show you your 2025 projects and you will be able to Copy Project, which creates a new 2027 project with your 2025 content while preserving the original project intact.
No media duplication, no archive, etc. Fast and fun.

No. Only major updates, although I make sure everything is fully backed up before I do any install.
