ASCII batches taking long times to load

My artist sending me batches has simply disconnected his internet line, and now when I open his setups they load instantly as they should.

@fredwarren, does this point to a simple solve on your end?

This doesn’t ring a bell. Please report it to support so they cam investigate the issue.

Two of us tried at different times but the system was down. I thought @aaronneitz eventually got a ticket open. Maybe not? I’m not sure.

Case #21947654

Support basically said “You use dropbox. Sorry we can’t help you.”

@fredwarren, can this case be looked into again? It’s been a serious problem, and we confirmed it is not related to Dropbox (I don’t use DB). Unplugging the Internet has seemed to be the only remedy. It’s very hard sharing setups with this bug…

Make sure it is reported to Support and they will look at it.

@aaronneitz, do you want to follow up on your ticket, or should I?

They closed it. “You’re using Dropbox and that’s an unsupported workflow. Too bad.”

I did mention other users having problems.

@Majush, did you tell me you’d opened up a new ticket this last weekend, with the info about the Internet connection?

Not yet. Just spoke to one of the support

We don’t have an official ticket yet, but at least there is acknowledgment.

Thanks @Majush for opening a support ticket. The issue has been replicated and we are working on a fix that you should see in a Flame near you very soon.

Could you provide the support ticket ID for this issue?

This has been fixed in the 2024.2.2 and 2025.0.1 versions.

Thank you so much, Fred.

I feel I know the answer…

but can 2024.2.1 and 2024.2.2 live in coexistence

They can. And their archives are compatible as well.
