I’m setting up a new Flame workstation and have purchased everything except the ATTO Celerity card. Since the officially supported FC-164P (16Gb/s quad-port) has been discontinued, I’ve had three separate orders canceled by different vendors.
I currently have an older FC-164E with redundant connections in the old Flame, but I’d prefer to start fresh with new hardware. Has anyone successfully used the ATTO Celerity FC-324E (32Gb/s) with Flame on Linux? Even though the card is backward compatible, I’m not sure how picky Flame is about this hardware.
It’s not officially listed as certified, but since the ATTO drivers are unified, I’m hoping the DKU install will handle it. Are there any specific configurations or anything required to get a 32Gb card working properly with Flame, or is it plug & play via the DKU? Thanks for any advice!
