Good one. I usually also have the orig source and the final output (right before the render/write node) piped into a diff node, as default for any setup, so I can AB with F1/F2 at anytime throughout the process, freeing up C1/C2 if needed. And that diff node is cranked to the max for verifying the tail end plate integrity.
