I’m looking to sell a brand new, unopened and in the box Apple Silicon Mac Pro with the following specs…
Apple M2 Ultra with 24-core CPU, 60-core GPU, 32‑core Neural Engine
64GB unified memory
4TB SSD storage
To distill the exodus that has led to this post into it’s broadest strokes…
Bought a 2019 Mac Pro (Intel Processor)
Had Wifi issues within months of buying it
Maintained Apple Care and had the box rebuilt twice
Issue persisted and, four long years later, Apple is finally replacing the computer
My work needs have changed since my initial purchase in 2019, so I no longer require a MacPro for work and would prefer to pocket that money.
I’m offering the box for a flat $8k $7,750, which would save you just shy of $1,000 vs purchasing from Apple (depending on the taxes in your area)
I’m in Brooklyn, NY, so local pickup is absolutely an option. Also happy to ship and add that to the price.
I can also point you to a some known people here on the forum as a character reference because… you know… this is the internet and that’s a lot of money.
@brandondanowski - so sorry to be the one to say it but you’d need to drop your asking price to well below $1,000 for that offer to be interesting to someone like me.
Your machine is 2,000 days old and not obviously upgradable.
There’s no more intel development going on at apple.
Flame development is focused on apple silicon.
Your machine has a history of failure.
On the upside, have you tried to work with your local flame reseller to consider a trade in?
I don’t know who to talk to on your part of the planet but I would always recommend reaching out to Cinesys, who are a known, reputable company.
Hahaha
Senior moment
You’re selling the M2 Mac Pro
And there I was being a total dick about intel blah blah.
I really must be a senior flame artist
Do I get a bus pass?
I’m not dying to sell it. Will keep if it doesn’t move. So I’ll just sit on it with the current asking price for the time being and if it doesn’t sell, then I’ll just use it!
