CINEFEX
This word will only mean something to knowledgeable folks within the VFX Industry. If you are sentimental, a collector or total VFX nerd then I may have something of cinterest to you. Yes I know, but I couldn’t help myself and it’s been a long time since I’ve worked on a TVC.
A good friend of mine has the first 100+ issues of CINEFEX magazine, including some rarities, and will entertain any offers to take his entire collection (n.b. not every issue ever made) off his hands. I have no idea what they are worth, he has no idea what they are worth, but people are selling individual copies on eBay so it must be worth something to someone out there. He could have just thrown them out but no, he is hoping an esteemed VFX aficionado like yourself will jump at the chance of adding this to your collection of VFX memorabilia.
100+ Cinefex mags will weigh a lot, as they are jam packed full of incredible content, so I have no idea what shipping would cost but you’ll need to factor that in. My friend, like me, is based in Sydney so if you’re a local and interested I’m sure you could arrange to pick them up.
