Randy-
I Would love to see a category for resources on how support artists of colour and just learn more about the issues that have arisen over the past few months. There are more and more people in out industry coming together. I think we as a community should do the same, how we can make our profession accessible to everyone. Also i know you mentioned scholarships and i think mentorships would be a great for our community.
Oh wow what an amazing idea. 100%. There are lots of options.
First and foremost, this post is now a user-editable Wiki. Any user can add links and resources as they see fit.
Second, what would you like the Category to be named? We can also Pin this thread to the top of a Category, and re-bump it every week.
Third, we can create Groups, which we can assign Users as Group Owners, allow users to join the group freely, allow users to leave the group freely, or allow users to send memberships requests. We can also set Visibility limits…everyone? logged on users? staff? moderators? group members? admins? We can also set who can see group’s members, who can message, etc. It’s incredibly powerful. We should focus on creating resource lists, but also spaces for those to connect in a secure and intimate setting.
Thoughts? Suggestions?
I’ve also placed the above links at the top of the Links And Websites Category.
