I would really like to see the ability to wrap up an exr sequence in a container format such as mxf like you can with JPEG2000. Not just for flame but for all the major software for the industry. Would make transferring, wrangling and reading files a lot faster due to less IOps.
Guess that may kill all the metadata unless there was a specific container format for this. I would hve though the multichannel options would need to be addressed in some way also.
Still, who does one talk to to get something like this happening? I guess SMPTE?
