Flame in the Wild

It’s a wild world out there. Where are some interesting places you’ve used Flame?

PCoIP from FL320.

What I find strange, is they haven’t updated the iOS app in like a year.

I literally had to remote in with Splashtop on my iphone to render and send a final version just before boarding a flight at the airport.

On a recent trip to Edinburgh, I had to log in to my Flame on the train to update a shot, worked fine until I hit a tunnel.

I had to reanimate a mask from a parking garage with iPhone Teamviewer. Yikes.

4h remote Flame session in the car going to IBC last year.

Most weirdest one had been an emergency “new super and audio” replacement done on the phone, waiting in queue for a Roller Coaster

Various setups in various places:

Happening now…

Few years back in a pretty remote (and awesome) yoga retreat in Ukraine, only accessible in these 4x4 vans going up the mountain. Occasionally a cow came and check in on my work.

Yesterday on the banks of canals in Amsterdam…

I was barreling down some rapids this morning and I just HAD to do some comping.

Jokes aside, I’m in the kitchen today as my wife needs the office and we’re both WFH today.

well I think the guy in the hospital are the winner.
but for me was in a kitchen.

On a flight to somewhere circa 2017:

And at the Las Vegas airport after NAB 2023:

From the time before I got to use Flame…editing tvc in Fcp7 at Munich Airport waiting for a knackered hydraulic system to get fixed. At least the coffee was free!

I always love seeing the batch timebar worn into a Wacom.

Slightly going off in a new direction. Here is a Flame related “in the wild”

Opportunity to open a competing shot across the street called Batch Iteration.

and a book store next door called batch shelf

and in the basement you could have the Batch Archives.

And across the back alley is that mental institution called Flame Hotkeys.
