I’m on Linux and have yet to experience anything like this. I’ve copied and pasted from email and other web based docs as well as the linux office apps. EDIT: I did a quick test with a very large c/p. It took a long time for the paste to work (10 seconds or so) , but it did.

I don’t have any trouble copy/pasting on mac. I don’t typically do lots of words / paragraphs though. Two ideas: To make sure you are in edit mode and not move mode: create a type layer, type a few characters in it, then paste your big chunk. If it works, go back and delete those first few charact…

Maybe try a different font to start with. Maybe there are weird characters in the text you are copying.
