Impossible to copy paste texts correctly into new Type tool

All in the title, I tried many tricks just to copy a text of 120 words/800 characters from a mac note window, or any other app on Mac 15.6 using Flame 2026.0.1 then 2026.0.2, it doesn’t work, while it works anywhere else on Flame, like Note Node, Node Name…etc.

Is the following working for you:

1. From an app on macOS, copy the text to the clipboard
2. Make sure you can paste it within the same app or in another app to make sure the text is in the clipboard
3. In Flame, go to a Type node
4. Add a layer >>> The layer should have a red outline, meaning it is in edit mode
5. Open the context menu (the cursor must be over the layer’s bounding box when you open it)
6. Select “Text” in the “Paste” submenu.

Your text should be pasted. If it is not, I would recommend trying what John suggested.
