Just wanted to put on everyone’s radar that this weekend’s Logik Live (Sunday, August 4th at 2pm EST) is with none other than Autodesk Flame Senior Product Owners Fred Warren and Stephane Labrie, who will be joining me to present everything you need to know about the 2025.1 Update.
You can ask questions during the show, but depending on how complicated the question might be or how pressed we are for time, it might be helpful to ask ahead of time. So feel free to use this thread to ask away and I’ll be sure to bring them up.
Juste wanted to answer a question @MLandon posted on the chat during yesterday’s presentation. Regarding the new possibility to link the zoom and pan of all viewports, Michael asked “how does it work when the source and context are different resolutions?”. What @Jeff answered in the chat was correct, but I wanted to explain one more thing:
As Jeff said, the zoom and pan values are applied in a relative manner.
However, there is one exception to this. The Home and Fit functions are applied in an absolute manner, meaning that images in all viewports will be set to their home position or fit, independently of any offset there might be between them.
