is the 32EP950 still good today? anything better?

yea , nowadays you want the asus proart QD-Oled instead

the JOLED (LG 32EP etc) are depreceated and just not as good as the newer QDs, the
asus is genius for yhe price

oled-pa32ucdm/
same panel as the flanders XMP310

got the oled-pa32ucdm, sending back due to fringing on text, no displayport. The others mini led are quite very expensive.

its not great for GUI its more a cheap and good broadcast monitor.

OLED for GUI is pretty ridicolous.

miniLED sucks.

for gui just get the newer IPS-Black monitors from dell, benq , eizo or whatever

found an the LG open box, only 5hrs use for $1.3k, may go for it, .. apparently no fringing, with display port.

But I agree would rather spend over $3k on an Eizo, but used LG this is a money saver, …?

using the Asus pa32ucdm as a gui actually felt great, until I noticed the fringing, …

I had one.

It has a lot of problems, uniformity , magenta tint ij the blacks.

and the company that made it is pretty much defunct.

idk.. ips-black is a great compromise for GUI,

i got the dell u32 something, its good and the eizo EV3240X both are pretty darn good

oh shit really, …I’ve just payed for it… you gave it 10/10…, wish I asked earlier… think ive been eBayed, …the dell was my other choice, but I thought this was an amazing deal considering it cost around $3-4k new

10/10 compared to all
others at the time,

its a total lottery, mine was quiet good, but ive seen like 10 now and they are all over the place sadly

so you replaced it with a cheap dell? and your happier?

2 different things.

OLED for broadcast out only, its just not very good for static GUIs, stuff will burn in etc.

I am now using a xmp310 for broadcast, the eizo EV3240x for GUI and homeoffice ive got a dell and a cheap innocn miniLED to experiment with hdr
workflows

replaced the LG 32EP950 with the flanders XMP310

The LG 32EP950 arrived, …I’ve now been checking it out, for the last 2 hrs and love it , no fringing and all looks great!

you got lucky then! mine started fine and then developed quiet a bit of pink/magenta vignetting and also on almost black images a sort of red fixed pattern noise,

Oh really! …well then, it’s still early days for me, atm it’s like new, but at least I didn’t pay full price, fingers crossed.

I will lower my expectations in future use ready for decline.., I’m using it a s main display and I have a Sony hd pvm oled by its side.
